what are the points to be considered in designing IP CCTV system?
we have a project for 120 IP cameras to be installed in a site,please give me some guide lines to be noticed

Some things I would consider….
1. Will you require the system to operate during power interruptions?
2. Will you use POE cameras? (power over Internet)? This will save on installation time.
3. How much history do you require before overwriting the recording images? Will you archive or erase history?
4. Is this an inhouse project or will it be contract? If contract extended service and warrantee issues to be nailed down.
5. Will there be audio capabilities? If yes some states do not allow this.
Just a quick list.
